What’s the first thing that comes to your mind as soon as I say the word, Christmas? Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way or Santa Claus or gifts or something else? Feel free to share in the comment section below.
The very first thing that comes to my mind is a beautifully lit up Christmas tree!
I am sure that you will agree with me that everything about this festival is beautiful. Right? The lights, the decorated local markets, vibrant streets and the Jingle bells Carol.
In this blog-post, I am going to give you real reasons to love Christmas not this year, but every coming year.
So let’s jump straight to the points:
1. Brighten up your soul and your surroundings!
Without putting much effort, lights simply make everything so vibrant and beautiful. During X-mas, everything is decorated with lights, be it the streets, the local markets or the lampposts’.
2. Tree decorated with zeal and filled with love!
Christmas trees are the soul of this festival. Families get excited from choosing their favorite tree to decorating it with glitters, stars, candies, pictures and whatever they wish.
3. Gifts! Who doesn’t love gifts? I know, right?
X-mas is incomplete without gifts; kids’ and grown-ups are equally excited about it. Some exchange gifts because of tradition and some to show their love and care.
4. Ho-Ho-Ho! – Shopping Time!
During X-mas time, there is a huge sale going on in almost all stores. It is the best time to purchase your favorite toys or clothes at a lesser and better price. It’s the right time! Go, grab them all!
5.Time to catch-up with everyone in the family!
It’s the time when whole family gets together and spends quality time with each other. This is the best time to share stories, especially for the kids who are working and for the kids who are living in the another city. Everyone’s favorite meals and desserts are prepared!
6. The Jingle Bells of Mr. Santa!
Red suit, red hat, snow white beard, and a bag full of presents– is how a kid would describe Santa Claus. Kids wait for Santa to come from the chimneys’ and bring gifts for them.
7. Get in the Christmassy feel!
Whether it’s the kids or the grown-ups, everyone loves to get into the festive feel. One idea to get into the mood of this event is to watch movies. Some of the famous x-mas movies for kids are Home Alone, Elf, Mickey’s Magical Christmas: Snowed in at the House of Mouse (2001), The dog who saved Christmas and for parents I have some movies too- Holiday (one of my favorites), While you were sleeping (again favorite), Love actually, etc.
I hope all you guys are now ready to get into the Christmassy feel. 😀
Wish you all a very Merry X-Mas and a Happy New Year!!!
