Valentine’s day also known as Saint Valentine’s Day is the day to celebrate LOVE all around the globe. The excitement of people before valentine’s day reaches to a whole new level. ToyCart thought of celebrating this too, keeping the zeal intact, but with a different perspective.
There are times that we are so engrossed in our daily chores and running errands that we forget to appreciate the love we have around us. So ToyCart thought of making this a week to express your love and gratitude towards your loved ones and make them all feel SPECIAL!
We have covered all the significant relationships that one has made in such a while. So let’s discuss them one by one.
1) Love for parents – As Karan Johar said, it is all about loving your parents!
They say God cannot be everywhere so that is why He created Parents. They are such a true blessing that anything we do for them will not be enough. All their life they have showered their immense unconditional love and affection upon us. So, now is the time to express your heartfelt gratitude towards them. Tell them how much you love them by gifting them something special, speaking your heart out through a letter or a note or by just saying, I LOVE YOU!
2) Love for grandparents – Storehouse of Love!
Grandparents are one of the greatest gems that we get to treasure in our life. They are the support system of the family with immeasurable love to shower upon us. Grandparents share a very significant bond with their grandkids, which is deep. They are narrow escape for grandkids especially from the scolding of parents. We all love them, but let’s just make them feel GRAND by doing something special for them.
3) Love for children – Parent’s root of joy!
Children are an apple of their parent’s eyes!
You have loved them since they were born. Be their monkey tricks, going all over the place, or their tantrums, nothing could ever change your immense love for them.
Even when they grow-up, you admire your kids for effectively handling various roles and responsibilities. Although they know that you love them, but who doesn’t like to be appreciated. Right? This valentine, tell your kids that you love them and are proud of them for turning out to be such a wonderful personality.
4) Better half – Making your world better!
George Eliot quoted, “I like not only to be loved, but also to be told that I am loved.”
I thought what better quote to start with when it comes to better half. Everyone believes that if they are with their better half it is obvious that they love them. Let me correct you here my friend by asking you to refer to George Eliot quote, yes that is for you! It is important to communicate your love to your beloved, once in every while.
Off late, if you have been busy or occupied doing other chores due to which you could not do the much-expected things for your better half then, Valentine is the perfect time. You can make your better half feel LOVED and make up for all the missed opportunities in the past. So, grab the opportunity and make your better half go gaga with your surprise. Just do it!
5) Siblings – I may fight with them but don’t you dare?
Childhood teasing, calling each other by weird names, pulling each other’s leg, bickering and what not! The best thing is calling them by their nicknames in public or in front of their comrades, sometimes out of habit and at times intentionally. Both situations leading to delightful laughter in the end.
Some of the best and embarrassing childhood memories we share are with our siblings. Make them feel special and embrace your bond by taking them on a trip down memory lane.
6) F.R.I.E.N.D.S – They make the world a better place!
Friends are the extended family. They will act as a parent, a therapist, an honest critic, a confidant, partner in crime and above all, your greatest admirer. Sometimes just talking to them will change your mood and lift your spirits higher. If you have one good friend or more, then you are quite lucky. BLESSED I feel! While writing this, I have extremely started missing my friends. 🙁
So, if you are living far from your BFFs just remind them how special they make your life and how blessed you are to have them in your life. If they are in the same city, catch up with them and make them feel SPECIAL, because George Eliot quoted, “I like not only to be loved, but also to be told I am loved.” Right?
Hope I was able to motivate you a little through this blog!
Wish you all a lovely Happy Valentine!
